INTERIOR REMODELING
OUTDOOR LIVINGA Massapequa builder's effort to help an ill stranger make his home safe has earned an award from the White House. Gary Zaccaro, a contractor who remodeled a basement as a recovery space for a Massapequa Park man undergoing leukemia treatments will receive the gold-level President's Volunteer Service Award, according to the Long Island Volunteer Center, which helps designate recipients. The center describes the honor as "the most prestigious volunteer award associated with the White House.
Zaccaro, 46, this month finished work on the home of John Sopack, 36, after spending four weeks and $35,000 in materials and labor to create a germ-resistant space."

We Hit A Homerun!
When we went out looking for the right contractor, boy did we hit a home run when we met Gary of Ambassador Home Improvement! Every step of the way Gary Zaccaro and the Ambassador Home Improvement crew treated our house like a home. We underwent a major renovation, complete gut, roof tear off, additional 1000 square foot extension, foundation work and relocate underground utilities all while my family with three teenagers and a cat lived in the basement.

Incredible Service
Ambassador had completed a stunning renovation on our home in 2010. Since then, regardless of the issue, they have responded without question or hesitation to any need that has arisen. Their initial quality workmanship is most certainly withstanding the test of time. However any failed materials or products, which were not under their control, are treated as warranty repairs, regardless of the severity of the problem.
